7:01 pm
banning books to stand in the way of teaching america's full history. >> i never thought i'd be a president was fighting against elected officials trying to ban books. > they believe if they repeat a lie enough it will become an accepted truth. not if we can help it. the truth th is, sensible elected officials representing parents who were flabbergasted to learn how perverted their kids curricula has become. because it's driven by activists who demand inclusion and d affirmation. it took a pandemic for moms a dad to notice how pornographic the books have become. here is a sampling. >> my child's sixth grade english teacher sends out a summer reading material. including gender queer. from this book brother talking to sister. so you never tasted yourself?

and bees, leave it to the parents.no, we don't care about the complaints of people like make it wealthy best-selling author nora roberts. apparently she's whining about how her books are being taken off school shelves as well. again, if parents want their sons and daughters to read books was sexually explicit language they could go by them and give them to their bics. it was unless someone nora roberts books suitable for readers 18 and older. roberts isn't exactly jane austen. compare the battle to restore age-appropriate materials in our schools to the left search and destroy mission against classic american literature. fierce pressure campaigns by radicals have pushed publishers to rewrite language in books to illuminate things like micro and macro aggressions or implicit bias and other terms that offend the modern social assistance ability. so the so-called protectors of artistic expression they are the very ones censoring appeared look at rolled all. his books were edited to be more inclusive and all the offensive language was taken out of them.
7:04 pm
writer rl stine was angry when he found out his books were being edited behind his back. if you want to read the classics in their original forms, i'm telling you tonight, you better grab a copy now because if the mob gets its way those books won't be published or you won't be able to find them for purchase or loan anywhere. if the last has its way sometimes the not so distant future you won't be able to find, i think original works of literature written before 1960 at all. this won't be books either by the way. the pressure to conform artistic expression to current cents ability's will extend to things like old tv shows, to films and music. now, you couldn't make these types of shows today. >> hey where's your ribbon? >> oh i don't wear the ribbon. >> you don't wear the ribbon? aren't you against age? ask him against aids, i'm walking time. i just don't wear the ribbon. >> who do you thank you are?

history, it's time for true liberals and conservatives to band together to stop them. new copyright law should protect original works from changes. if a publishing house that owns the rights to some artistic work, song or a book, they decide to change that song for that book supposedly remove the offensive content, that publishing house should lose its copyright. the public should always, always have access to the originals. access to the authors or the directors actual words unabridged or unaltered by that woke sensors. if biden is given a second term we will continue to lose our american identity and are an american art in our american history. the left is going to be emboldened. their vicious expurgation campaign is only gonna ramp up and sexual propaganda will continue flooding our schools. is that what americans really want? that's the ankle.try to be now is tulsi gabbard former congresswoman, 2020 candidate in a fox news contributor.

josc, this censorship game is political here. explain why this is ultimately sold concerning. especially given that quotation from orwell if you edit the past long enough people forget that there was a truth in the new edit becomes the truth for our next generation. >> laura, there's so many reasons why this is dangerous. the fact that it is political is exactly the problem. this is not a democrat or republican issue. we need common sense and honesty. we unfortunately has politicians who are neither. there directly try to politicize this issue for the own political game the next ection. they y are 2 distinct issues were dealing with. number one is parents who are taking action to protect their kids from active sport trying to sexualize them in ages as young as 4 years old. when people read and hear the

explicit sexual content in these books, it's obsolete shocking. the second issue here is censorship of views of a political views, philosophical fields or views of history and trying to keep information away from the american people. overseeing here is a dishonesty politicians who are equating these twl. the american people have common sense and american people are smart enough to see through this insanity and to recognize what danger and threat this poses to our kids. frankly to our democracy wherefore this open flow of information for americans is critical. >> how do you know the truth and what is not true if it's constantly being edited for whatever faddish sensibility is invoked at any given day? does the new york times won its old articles that i wrote edited? probably not kelsey, right? they will be off-limits. they get to keep your old

accounts. >> actually appeared that right there is the insanity of this. you're talking about for living in this upside down world were good is bad and that is good. we have a situation where these people, those were part of this mainstream so-called woke establishment. they want to treat adults. they want to treat us as the american people like children and tell us we know what's best for you we want to control information you could see and read and hear. what you could say, what information is acceptable. when it comes to our kids they want to treat our kids like adults and as president biden said the other day. he believes our kids should have unfettered access to all books including those who are targeting the most young and vulnerable in our kids with explicit child pornography and sexual content that you couldn't even put on the air it is so atrocious. >> this extensive course to racial curricula as well.
7:14 pm
america has to be portrayed as systemically racist. it's a new founding of america under a new radical's vision of what america was and continues to be to this day. it's ultimately, chelsea, very pessimistic about our country and all the blessings we have. even with all the mistakes in the past. >> that's true. the american people should be exposed to have access to the truth and the facts. all of them. about her history, we can learn from lessons from the past and actually work towards that vision our founders had for this country. that's what it means to be an american.tablet free marketplace of free ideas together the information. treat each other with respect. have our leaders treat us like adults and brother than children. recognize we have the ability to make her own decisions. we don't need the government trying to do that for us.

7:17 pm
